Brand Work

The best branded content is the kind that can marry the interests of both parties involved while also remaining authentic and engaging for viewers. Not always easy to do.

Below are a few examples of partnered video content I had my hands on during my time at Chicago Fire FC. My role within these projects generally encompassed things like the writing of the initial video treatments and scripts, collaborating with partner representation, coordinating times, locations, and talent for filming, and serving as an on-site producer. The shooting and editing was handled by the team’s talented group of videographers.

The final deliverables were shared across the Fire’s social media channels and owned digital platforms.

National Team Dreams | Adidas

During the 2022 FIFA World Cup, we sat down with a trio of Fire players currently representing the U.S. National Team on the youth level to discuss their ambitions to play in future World Cup tournaments.

Trail Blazers | Allstate

To showcase Allstate’s desire to “protect the future of the game”, we paired Fire legends with current players to share their unique perspectives on the sport’s growth and where it’s headed in a series called “Trail Blazers.”

No Little Plans | Curad

In my heavily biased opinion, the best all-access video series in Major League Soccer. Sponsored for the first time in 2023 by Curad, “No Little Plans” is a prestige documentary-style look at the day-to-day life of the team and its supporters in a raw, authentic format.

Center Circle | AT&T

Before “No Little Plans,” our “Center Circle” series provided behind-the-scenes on off-the-pitch access to players to showcase their lives outside of the game and offer them an opportunity to tell their stories in their own words.

Matchday Primer | Valspar

A weekly video series that “primed” viewers for the Fire’s upcoming matchup by offering insights on the opponent’s key players, results, statistics, and more.
